DALLAS, VANCOUVER and LONDON, AUGUST 2026.
ETT Group of Companies (ETT), the governed AI and automation delivery partner, today announced the appointment of Ryan Carter as Group Chief Executive Officer. ETT founder George McKenna becomes Chairman and Chief Technology Officer.
The appointments follow the formation of ETT Group of Companies, which brings ETT's businesses in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom together under one group. Ryan will lead the Group's commercial strategy, client delivery and growth across all three markets. George will chair the board and lead technology, product and innovation, including Analect, the platform ETT uses to measure what an AI workload will cost and how well it answers before a client commits.
"Every leadership team I speak to has been told to do something with AI," said Ryan Carter, Group CEO of ETT. "The ambition is real, but most are stuck between pilots that never scale and projects nobody can explain to a regulator or a finance director. People end up with tools they don't trust and results they can't prove. I think our industry owes clients better than that: AI and automation built into the real work of the business, governed from day one, and judged on the returns it delivers rather than the demos it produces. That's why I'm at ETT. We start with the problem, not the technology, we put evidence behind every outcome, and we have the people and partners to take a client from the first conversation to results they can measure. Building on the foundations George has laid, my job now is to bring that to more organisations across the UK and North America."
One group, three markets
ETT is headquartered in Dallas, with offices in London and Vancouver. Each operating company contracts and supports clients in its home market, and all three share one delivery method, one set of controls and one team of specialists. Clients get a local partner with the depth of the wider Group behind it.
The Group is also building out a dedicated sales team in North America to support its growth in the US and Canada.
AI that does the work, and shows its working
ETT's go-to-market is built for organisations that are under pressure to adopt AI but answer to boards, auditors and regulators. Many have already run pilots that never reached production. ETT builds AI and automation into the work teams already do, with clear ownership, human oversight and a record of every decision. A baseline and a measure are agreed before anything is built, so clients can show the board the saving and the auditor the evidence.
Clients move through a clear engagement path, with each step small enough to test whether the next is worth taking:
Executive Value Day. A full-day session where leadership teams identify where AI can create value and turn the strongest ideas into an opportunity charter.
Business Process Workshop. A fixed-price engagement that maps the process with the client's team, sizes the saving and sets the baseline. If the numbers don't stack up, ETT says so.
Proof of Value. One process, live, measured against the agreed baseline.
Pilot and scale. Targeting measurable returns within nine months.
ETT focuses on financial services, insurance, healthcare, utilities, logistics, manufacturing, retail and hospitality. Recent client results include annual savings of more than £120,000 in medico-legal document processing, manual audit effort cut by up to 80 percent with payback in around 7.5 months for an investment manager, and a 60 to 70 percent reduction in automation delivery time for a global logistics business (case studies).
"I started ETT because good organisations were being sold AI that couldn't explain itself," said George McKenna, Chairman and CTO of ETT. "Boards want results and regulators want proof. Most of the market delivers one of those, if that. We built ETT to deliver both. Forming the Group gives us the structure to do it properly on both sides of the Atlantic, and Ryan is the right person to lead it. He has the commercial drive and the client relationships to take what we've built to market at scale, and it lets me focus on the technology, the product and making sure everything we deliver stands up to scrutiny."
