Privacy Policy

Last reviewed 11 September 2026. This policy describes the processing carried out by the ettgroup.ai website. It does not cover processing agreed separately under a client contract, which is governed by that contract and its data processing terms.

Who we are

Emerging Transformational Technology (ETT) provides AI strategy, automation, data, governance and infrastructure services, and publishes the Analect knowledge platform. ETT is the controller for the personal information described in this policy. We are headquartered in Dallas, Texas, United States, with offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and London, United Kingdom.

Because we operate in three countries, the rights available to you depend on where you are. The sections below set out the position under UK and EU data protection law, Canadian federal law, and the state privacy laws that apply in the United States. Where more than one applies to you, you may rely on whichever gives you the stronger right.

What we collect, and why

We only collect personal information you choose to give us through a form on this site, together with the limited technical information described under Cookies below. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not use the information you submit to train AI models.

Session and enquiry requests

When you request an AI session or send an enquiry, we collect your name, work email address, organization, role, sector and the description of the challenge you provide. We use it to respond to you, prepare for the conversation and arrange a time. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated.

Automation readiness assessment

Your answers stay in your browser while you work through the assessment. When you ask us to send the full report, we collect your name, work email address, organization and, if you choose to give it, a phone number. We also store your answers and the readiness level and indicative ranges calculated from them, so the report we email matches what you saw on screen and so we can discuss it with you. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on that form.

Analect pilot, whitepaper and NDA requests

Analect forms collect your name, work email address, organization and the answers specific to that form, such as estate size or primary interest. Requesting the whitepaper also sends a copy of it to the email address you give. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to a product enquiry, and your consent where you have asked us to send you a document.

Marketing

Requesting a report, a whitepaper or a session is not a subscription to marketing. We will contact you about the request you made. If we later want to send you anything else, we will ask you first, and every message we send will carry a way to stop receiving them.

Who processes information for us

We use a small number of established providers to run this site. Each acts as a processor under contract, handling information only on our instructions.

• Vercel — hosting, content delivery and automated bot protection on our forms.
• Supabase — the database that stores enquiry and assessment submissions.
• Resend — delivery of the notification emails we receive and the report and whitepaper emails we send to you.

We operate in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and some of these providers operate infrastructure in other countries again, so your information may be transferred across borders. Where information is transferred out of the UK or the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the safeguards in our contract with that provider, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses. Where information about Canadian residents is processed outside Canada, it remains subject to this policy and to our contracts with those providers, and may be accessible to the courts and authorities of the country it is held in. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry and session requests: kept while we are in contact with you and for up to 24 months after our last exchange, so we can pick up a conversation you restart.
• Assessment submissions: kept for up to 24 months, so we can retrieve or explain a report we sent you.
• Notification and report emails: kept in our mailbox in line with our normal business correspondence retention.
• Records we need for legal, tax or contractual reasons: kept for as long as that obligation requires.

Cookies

This site sets a small number of cookies. Non-essential cookies are only set after you consent through the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change that choice at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie, what it does and how long it lasts.

Automated decision-making

The readiness assessment scores your answers using a fixed, published method and produces an indicative result. It is guidance to discuss with us, not a decision about you, and it has no legal or similarly significant effect. No profiling is applied to your information beyond that calculation.

Security

Information submitted through this site travels over an encrypted connection and is stored in access-controlled systems. Our forms are protected against automated abuse. Access to enquiry and assessment records is limited to the ETT staff who need it to respond to you.

Your rights

Whatever law applies to you, the same three things are true: we will not sell your personal information, we will not share it with advertising networks, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. To exercise any right below, email sales@ettgroup.ai. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will only ask for what is needed to do that.

United Kingdom and European Economic Area

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access a copy of your personal information, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to erase it, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive it in a portable form, and — where we rely on consent — to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, or to the supervisory authority in your EEA member state.

Canada

Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, how we have used it and to whom we have disclosed it, and you may challenge its accuracy and ask for it to be corrected. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. We will respond within thirty days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

United States

Several states, including Texas, California, Colorado, Connecticut and Virginia, give residents the right to know what personal information is collected about them, to obtain a copy of it, to have it corrected, to ask for it to be deleted, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. We do not sell personal information, do not use it for targeted advertising and do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will respond within forty-five days, and may extend that once where the request is complex.

If we refuse a request you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will explain the outcome in writing. California residents may also authorise an agent to make a request on their behalf.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect, why we collect it or who processes it, we will update this policy and the review date at the top of the page.
